Neil is a registered clinical psychologist who provides therapy to adults (18+) both face‑to‑face and via telehealth. His clinical experience spans private practice, community mental health services, alcohol and substance use counselling, and the facilitation of anxiety group therapy programs.
Before becoming a psychologist and completing his PhD, Neil spent nearly 20 years working in corporate business development and marketing. His doctoral research and subsequent publications explored the impact of stigma on resilience and wellbeing - an area of interest that continues to inform and anchor his clinical work today.
Neil’s therapeutic approach centres on creating a safe, affirming, and collaborative space for all clients. He brings compassion, empathy, and a touch of humour to his sessions, supporting people to strengthen their sense of agency and move toward meaningful change.
He uses evidence‑based interventions to address a wide range of mental health and psychosocial concerns, including LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD and autism‑related support needs, alcohol and substance use challenges, and workplace burnout.
