Lily Baccon

Clinical Psychologist

Lily is a clinical psychologist with experience providing therapy across the lifespan, working with children and their parents, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Lily completed both her Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours in Psychology) and Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney. Since completing her studies, Lily has worked in a diverse range of settings, including community mental health teams at St Vincent’s Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, and within private practice. Lily has also worked as a DBT group facilitator in her role at St Vincent’s Hospital.

Lily has particular interest in working with adults and adolescents with anxiety disorders, and she also has experience working with depression and adjustment disorders, and speciality in the treatment of problem gambling and emotional dysregulation.

Lily adopts a client-centred approach to treatment planning and works with evidence -based modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Lily wholeheartedly supports a strengths-based approach to treatment and believes in the importance of establishing a warm, open, and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Lily is a registered Clinical Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a registered provider for the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Scheme.
